Commission Request Form

Thanks for your interest in a Binary Sky Publishing commission.

This form is the starting point for all custom work, including wedding music, podcast themes, game cues, film and video cues, and bespoke requests. Once we receive your details, we’ll review the scope and come back with a clear quote, timeline, and a short delivery brief so everything is agreed before work begins.

Because every commission is bespoke, pricing is based on scope, deadline, deliverables and licensing requirements.

All commissions are creatively directed, which keeps the process consistent from first message to final delivery.

How it works

Step 1: Send the brief
Complete the form below. If you have reference tracks, include them. If not, describing the mood and use case is enough.

Step 2: We review and clarify
If we need anything else, we’ll ask a couple of short questions so the quote is accurate.

Step 3: Quote + project brief
You receive a clear quote, a deliverables list, and a proposed timeline.

Step 4: Book in with a deposit
If you approve the quote, we book the project in and take a deposit via Stripe invoice. Work begins once payment is received.

Step 5: First version, then refinements
We deliver a first version, collect feedback in one place, then apply the included revision rounds. We ask for feedback as one consolidated list per round to keep the process fast and focused.

Step 6: Final delivery
You receive clearly named files, ready to use, plus any agreed versions, stems, or notation deliverables.

What you can request

  • Audio masters (WAV + MP3)
  • Alternate cuts and timing versions (shorter, longer, 15s, 30s, 60s)
  • Stems (for editors and post-production)
  • Loopable versions (games and interactive)
  • Notation deliverables (score and parts, performance-ready PDFs, and MusicXML when agreed)

Privacy and sharing

Commissions are treated as private by default. We never share full pieces publicly without explicit permission. For client work, confidentiality and usage are agreed in writing before anything begins.

Ready to start?

Tell us the project type, date (if relevant), how the music will be used, and any style notes or links. We’ll review, ask any quick questions, then send a clear quote, timeline, and project brief.
